A recap of some of the work we did on Wednesday. Using a sand bottle to condition your hands and sharpen your strikes. Hang one up and get started!
Using a staff to get the body more involved in palm strikes and increase the short, sharp, shock that we want to impart. The staff allows immediate feedback on this by way of the tip bending in response to the strike. Once this is obtained, try to get the same feeling when you contact an opponent’s arm with techniques such as triple flick.

UQ Sport is also currently shut down for the rest of the week so there is no training.
